Become an ecotourist in López Mateos! If you enjoy kayaking, snorkeling and sea turtle watching, are an avid nature lover, or perk up at the idea of basking in the sun on a secluded sand bar, then ecotourism in López Mateos is for you! Get in touch with Chris Pesenti at chris@propeninsula.org to get word early on next summer’s López Mateos excursions, or make a donation at www.propeninsula.org to help this exciting new venture hit the ground running.
Adopt a Sea turtle Today! You can adopt a Loggerhead turtle and join our network of dedicated individuals working to protect the world’s sea turtles. When adopting a turtle your kind donation will help covering the costs of sea turtle research and community outreach done by the Proyecto Caguama. You will receive an adoption certificate with vital information about your particular turtle, a picture of it, and information on the community and individuals responsible for capturing and tracking it. Whenever your turtle is recaptured, we will send you updates letting you know where it was found, and how it is doing. Don’t wait any longer, adopt a loggerhead turtle now!!
