A Research-based Elementary Classroom Resource: Grupo Tortuguero worked with Susanna Musik of the Virginia Institute of Marine Science to develop Vida de la Tortuga, an activity designed to teach elementary students grades 3-6 about sea turtles in Mexico. Students will learn about endangered species and how humans can threaten and help them. This packet includes materials that address science and math standards.
